Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit or debit card, bank transfer, direct debit and bankers draft (The bankers draft must be payable in sterling and drawn on a UK bank account). Credit Card Payments will incur a 1.2% Surcharge.

Interest at 3% may be levied on any installment which remains unpaid after the due date, unless you have made previous contact with the Income Section of the Finance Office to agree a mutally alternative arrangement. Furthemore, if you are in debt to the University, you may be exluded from tuition and assessment and/or ejected from your University residence.

On-Line Payments

The University offers an online payment facility where you may choose to pay using either a credit/debit card.

Paying online is the preferred payment method and we request that financial arrangements are finalised prior to your arrival at the university.

We encourage you to pay online and assure you that all your information is held in an encrypted form in a safe and secure environment. To access our online payment facility, please  click here.  You will need to have your credit/debit card details together with the student's name, date of birth and Student ID Number.

Post the payment to: Income Section, Finance Office, Hazlerigg, Loughborough University , Ashby Road , Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 3TU. Make your cheques and bankers drafts payable to Loughborough University and kindly quote the student ID and name on the reverse of the cheque.

By Direct Debit

One third of the tuition fee charge and that term's full accommodation charge are payable on the 16th November 2012, the 25th January 2013 and the 3rd of May 2013.

If you have elected to pay your Tuition Fees via Direct Debit, you must also pay your Accommodation Fees by Direct Debit.

There is a £25 charge for each failed direct debit.

There is no charge for paying your fees by direct debit. Direct Debit forms are available from the Income Office, Hazlerigg.

You will be sent a schedule of direct debit payments no later than ten working days prior to the first collection date provided this is within one month of sign-up.

Please note: some charges such as charges for fines, course materials, registration fees, field trips, extra nights in hall and chemistry locker deposits cannot be paid by direct debit and must be paid by some other payment method.

In person

Pay in person at the Income Office, which is located on the ground floor of Hazlerigg. Try and avoid paying this way, as there can be large queues. Term Time opening hours and vacation opening hours are as follows:-
